Small gestures, big changes
At Blue Lavandarias, we don't just take care of your clothes, we also take care of the our community.
The 'Friendly Clothes' Project is a solidarity initiative by Blue Lavandarias, with the aim of promoting the delivery of all kinds of clothes to the needyThese are the kind of people signposted by non-profit organisations and/or the IPSS.
Since 2018, we've delivered more than 1,500kg of clothes.
What donations are accepted?
All adult, child and baby clothes in good condition.
How and where can I donate?
Donations can be dropped off at our traditional launderette during opening hours, with no need to book in advance.

What is the process?
Washing and drying
We wash and dry the donated clothes completely free of charge.
Separate
The clothes are sorted and separated by type and condition.
Packing
The parts are packaged for distribution.
Distribute
The clothes are given to charities, shelters and needy families in the Algarve.
The 'Friendly Clothes' project is a simple and effective way of helping those who need it most, promoting solidarity and sustainability.
